Coalition Surge Test for regions 3 & 5.

“The intent of the Coalition Surge Test (CST) exercises, as required by the US Health

and Human Services’ Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), is

to build upon the CST that were conducted in 2018 and to evaluate the implementation

of the operations within the Patient Placement Coordination Branch (PBCP), which is a

component of the Draft MDPH Patient Placement Coordination Plan (PPCP). The PPCP

supports and coordinates a multi-facility evacuation in the event of a catastrophic

incident in Massachusetts.” - MDPH
